How to use the boiler safely?

The boiler user unit shall set up full-time and part-time safety management personnel. Boiler operators and safety management personnel should pass the examination of the special equipment safety supervision and management department in accordance with the relevant regulations of the state, and obtain the special operator certificate in the unified format of the state before they can engage in corresponding work.

When the boiler is in operation, the operator should carefully operate the boiler according to the safe operation regulations of the boiler, and make a record of operation duty and shift handover. The pressure gauge and water level gauge should be flushed once in each shift, and the automatic steam exhaust test of the safety valve should be carried out once a month. During operation, it is strictly forbidden to remove the seal of the safety valve, load heavy objects on the static-weight safety valve, or block the opening of the vent pipe (water seal pipe) of the normal pressure (micro-pressure) boiler. When the operator finds a potential safety hazard during operation, the furnace should be shut down in time, and the operation can be resumed after the hidden danger is eliminated. No one can force it to run.

Safety management personnel should check regularly (at least once a month) and keep records. The user should do a good job in the daily maintenance of the boiler. Every six months, the manhole and hand hole of the boiler should be opened to clean the scale and soot in the boiler body, and check whether the boiler body is abnormal. If any problem is found, the local quality supervision department shall be notified in time. The user should check the safety valve and pressure gauge on the boiler regularly. The safety valve should be calibrated once a year. If there is a failure during use, it should be re-calibrated after maintenance or replacement. The safety valve can be sent to the local boiler inspection institute for verification. The pressure gauge should be calibrated every six months. If there is a failure during use, it should be recalibrated after maintenance or replacement. The pressure gauge can be sent to the quality supervision department with local conditions for calibration. The boilers in use are generally inspected every two years, and the water pressure test is carried out every six years. These inspections are carried out by local inspection and testing institutions that undertake the corresponding scope. The user shall submit periodic inspection requirements to the local inspection and testing agency that undertakes the corresponding scope one month before the expiration of the validity period of the safety inspection. After receiving the inspection request, the inspection and testing agency will contact the user to determine the inspection time and the preparation work required by the user. After the inspection and testing agency inspects the boiler, it will issue an inspection report to the user, and assume legal responsibility for the content of the inspection report.
