What are the precautions for the safety valve tuning and calibration process?

1-The tuning of the boiler safety valve of a unit is generally carried out by firing and boosting separately before the overall startup of the unit, so as to reduce the influence on the steam turbine during the setting.

2-After the boiler is ignited and pressured, put into the steam bypass system, and the pressure boosting process should be carried out in strict accordance with the relevant regulations of the regulations, and strictly monitor the tube wall temperature of the pressure surface to avoid over-temperature tube explosion.

3-When the pressure of the steam drum rises to 3.0MPa, the checker will manually hold up the pulse valve for management and flushing.

4-When the pressure rises to 60%-80% of the working pressure, the exhaust steam test of the remote manual seat opening should be carried out one by one in sequence, and the number of the safety valve should be reviewed.

5-The calibration of the safety valve should be carried out one by one in the order of setting values from high to low, first set the mechanical part, then set the electromagnetic part, debug one pulse valve, and open one. The pressure of the safety valve that has been calibrated should be increased again to confirm that it can operate correctly.

6-When the pressure is close to the opening pressure of the safety valve to be debugged, the combustion should be kept stable, the pressure should rise slowly, and the accurate action of the safety valve should be ensured.

7-When the reheater safety valve is debugged, the bypass system should be used to control the pressure, but it should be noted that the opening of the secondary bypass must be able to ensure the cooling of the reheater.

8-Once the safety valve has passed the calibration, its fixed value cannot be changed at will. The trap of the pulse safety valve should be removed from the hand wheel or locked.
